Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol Driver in Honolulu, HI to safeguard clients across Commercial Real Estate and other properties. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding service while representing our agile, reliable, and caring culture.

The role involves driving, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and documenting activities with site procedures.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, documenting relevant details according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and report suspicious activity and policy violations.
• Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports, and patrol documentation, communicating with Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol Driver in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
