Job summary

Allied Universal in Columbia, SC is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Driver Response to serve and safeguard clients in government facilities. You will perform routine unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a visible presence.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, being at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel at a government location.
• Respond to incidents calmly and report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry and exit per site procedures.
• Complete required activity logs and incident reports accurately and timely.

• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry and exit in accordance with established site procedures; direct visitors and personnel as needed.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
