Responsibilities

• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, employee, and contractor access per site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate incidents to leadership and site personnel.

Pay Rate: $18.78 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, employee, and contractor access in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
