Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol First Aid in Fredericksburg, VA to protect clients at a technology-focused facility, perform routine patrols, and deliver exceptional customer service.

The role requires responding to incidents, monitoring access, and maintaining a professional presence to support a welcoming environment for employees and guests in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Guard Card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screening required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to identify unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document patrol observations, incidents, and other security-related activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Help maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming environment for personnel and guests in a fast-paced technology location.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol First Aid in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
