Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol) in Jeffersonville, IN. You will perform routine patrols, deter incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service at a technology, media, and telecommunications site.

Key responsibilities include monitoring access, reporting incidents, and maintaining a visible presence.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required; licensing rules vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter and report unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site requirements and ensure orderly entry/exit processes.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and patrol logs.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, helping to maintain orderly entry and exit processes.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and completed patrol activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
