Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Incident Notification Patrol in Jeffersonville, IN. You will safeguard clients across Tech/Media/Telecom environments, maintaining a visible presence, conducting patrols, and delivering excellent service while reporting security concerns per site procedures. Position Type: Full Time.

Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour. Schedule includes nights: Mon–Sun 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter zones.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document shift activity in reports.
• Maintain a professional presence and communicate with site leadership as needed.

As a Security Officer Full Time Incident Notification Patrol in Jeffersonville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, loading locations, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and document incidents, observations, and shift activity in required reports.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related conditions and operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
