Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring for an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare facility in Jeffersonville, IN. You will provide patient, visitor, and staff support while maintaining a visible security presence and following site procedures.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility grounds, parking areas, entrances, corridors, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with directing patients and visitors to appropriate locations.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and completed activities in accordance with site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.

Pay Rate: $18.32 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue 06:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 04:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:
