Qualifications

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Access Compliance in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $17.77 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused corporate location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of corporate offices, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support a professional environment.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with badge-related inquiries, directions, and escalation of unauthorized access concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
