Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Emergency Preparedness in Atlanta, GA. You will be responsible for unarmed patrols, responding to incidents, monitoring access points, and delivering exceptional customer service to employees and visitors.

The role requires at least 1–3 years of security experience, CPR/First Aid preferred, and a high school diploma. Schedule includes daytime shifts across multiple days, with a full-time position and pay rate of $17.77 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a corporate technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of corporate offices, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document security-related observations, incidents, and patrol activity.
• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client-specific procedures.
