Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Emergency Readiness in LOS ANGELES, CA. You will monitor areas, patrol sites, and deliver exceptional customer service while collaborating with tenants, visitors, and team members. This role emphasizes agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity across shifts.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour. The schedule includes DayTime and evening shifts across weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation per laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen per law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property common areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as required, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor records.
• Communicate professionally with property management, building occupants, and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming environment at the location.
