Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a High Rise Building in Los Angeles, CA. You will provide unarmed security, assist tenants and visitors, and deter incidents while upholding Allied Universal’s values.

Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring entry points, reporting observations, and documenting daily activities. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are preferred; strong customer service mindset is a plus.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as per applicable laws.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency procedures and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer High Rise Buildingin Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, report observations, and support a welcoming environment while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
