• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction and policy compliance per site requirements.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.

As a Security Officer Full Time Overnight Corporate Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and team members while responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $19.06 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, tenant inquiries, and policy compliance in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
