Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Bronx, NY. You will patrol, deter incidents, monitor entries, and assist tenants and visitors with a courteous approach to safety and service.

Competenze

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and support badge access activities. Deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while working with a reliable, agile team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.66 - $22.66 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, building entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed by site protocols.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while maintaining professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
