Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
• Control access to loading docks, warehouse areas, and restricted locations in accordance with established site procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, loading areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Systems in Dayton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter incidents. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
