• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate per protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and grounds to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Administration in Florham Park, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, and support a secure, welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will use computer or tablet systems, communicate professionally, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors entering or leaving the facility.
• Maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery records; issue and collect access credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and facility grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
