Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer on the Full Time Morning Shift Patrol in Olive Branch, MS, serving a technology-focused location and protecting employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, monitor access points, and document observations using computer or tablet systems.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.
• Support a professional and welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access, property damage, and disruptive behavior.

As a Security Officer Full Time Morning Shift Patrol in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology-focused location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support badge and X-ray screening activities. You will use computer or tablet systems to document observations and communicate professionally with employees and visitors.
