Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Buffalo, NY. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, assist visitors, and document observations for site management.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent. Pay is $19.75/hour with full-time daytime shifts and benefits; Guard Card is preferred and background/drug screening apply. Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, business spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, property concerns, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and daily observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
