As a Security Officer Full Time Security Clearance Patrol in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon – 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue – 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed – 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri – 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, assisting with badge verification and reporting unauthorized access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
