Qualifications

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and other critical situations calmly and following protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, patient care areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, badge verification, and access-control procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and a New York State Security Guard License. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.44 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
