Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Driving Security Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.87 - $18.87 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a public transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, vehicle areas, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report observations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry when assigned, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
