Allied Universal in Renton, WA is seeking a full-time Security Officer for mobile patrol at an aerospace/defense site. You will deliver customer service, perform patrols, verify access, and respond to incidents, ensuring safety and compliance.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 20 lbs, and successful background and drug screening as required. Benefits include health insurance and 401k.

• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrol observations and incidents.

Pay Rate: $22.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as required.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
