Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports on patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities while maintaining confidentiality.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports on patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities while maintaining required confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
