Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time) for a Lobby position in Springfield, OH. You will greet visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and deliver professional customer service in a fast-paced technology, media, and telecommunications setting.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor authorization, issue temporary credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Receive and direct visitors, answer incoming calls, and provide professional assistance while maintaining awareness of activity at the front desk.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Support a professional, welcoming lobby environment and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent application of access-control procedures.
