Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Interior Patrol) in Richmond, Texas. You will protect clients across tech-focused sites, perform routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities include responding to security concerns, monitoring access, and documenting incidents.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and verify authorizations per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate as needed.

• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access activity and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorizations in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Interior Patrol in Richmond, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.26 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
