Allied Universal in Reno, NV is seeking a Security Officer for full-time industrial operations. You will patrol, monitor access points, and provide excellent customer service at a technology-focused site.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, documenting observations, and coordinating with onsite personnel and emergency responders. Must be 18+ with a HS diploma and pass background checks; drug screening may apply.

As a Security Officer - Full Time - Industrial Operations in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.35 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, office areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for employees, contractors, and guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document and communicate observations through appropriate reporting channels.
• Support a professional workplace environment by following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures, maintaining awareness of changing conditions, and coordinating with onsite personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
