Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $26.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, students, educators, staff, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Serve as a professional front desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Monitor entry activity, access control systems, and communications equipment, reporting unusual activity or access concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed.
• Assist with directing visitors, answering general inquiries, and supporting a welcoming, orderly environment at an education-focused location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
