Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Assist with directions or general information to create a welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Support a professional environment by observing site conditions, reporting maintenance or security-related concerns, and assisting with directions or general information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
