Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Decatur, IL to safeguard clients across diverse industries. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s culture of teamwork and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour. Schedule includes multiple shifts throughout the week. Join a growing team focused on safety and service at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles and 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted as a condition of employment.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location and verify credentials; maintain logs and report unauthorized access or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site procedures. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation, and communicate observations or security-related concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
