You will patrol healthcare facilities, deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service while complying with driver policy requirements.

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license; schedules include DayTime shifts and weekend coverage. Training, benefits, and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by following site-specific procedures and policies, including emergency responses in healthcare environments.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly, escalating per site protocols.
• Conduct routine unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and restricted locations.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain logs and reports.
• Support a professional environment for employees, patients, visitors, and vendors while following confidentiality requirements.

As a Security Officer Full Time - Mornings in North Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare and laboratory environment.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and designated restricted-access locations to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports for security-related incidents and observations.
• Support a professional, orderly environment for employees, patients, visitors, and vendors while following confidentiality and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
