Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to campus facilities by verifying identification, authorizations, visitor credentials, and entry permissions in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate visitor, access, and incident records while communicating professionally with campus personnel and emergency responders as needed.

What You'll Do
