Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted per federal/state/local laws.
• Criminal histories considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out access-control procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points; verify credentials and authorize entry according to campus procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Maintain awareness of activity at assigned locations; report suspicious or unauthorized activity and deter unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, access points, and surrounding areas as directed; environments may vary by location.

What You'll Do:
