Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control access at assigned entry points by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and contractor documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, visitor records, contractor sign-in information, and incident documentation using site-required systems and procedures.
• Respond to access-control concerns, alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access attempts, or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
