Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join a dynamic team in Valhalla, NY as a Security Officer Full Time Entry Control. You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and support visitors and personnel with exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include operating access control systems, responding to incidents, and performing patrols to deter unauthorized entry.

Qualificações

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor and control access to facilities, check identification, verify authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Operate access control systems, alarms, cameras, and communication equipment; report unusual activity and equipment issues.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized access.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Monitor and control access to facilities, checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Operate access control systems, alarms, cameras, and communication equipment; report unusual activity, access concerns, and equipment issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
