• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations will be conducted as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories per applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and other stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, contractor check-in requirements, and vehicle entry in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and access-control records; issue and collect access badges, keys, and other authorized property as directed.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.

Pay Rate: $16.00 - $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:
