Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 PM - 08:00 AM
• Fri 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, issuing access materials, and reporting access discrepancies according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain records of incidents, access activity, and security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
