Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Roslyn, NY. You will provide security services, manage access control, and maintain safety while supporting a welcoming, service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, patrolling, incident reporting, and working with visitors and staff. Minimum requirements cover age, education, background checks, and computer or tablet proficiency.

• State/city-issued license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. You will interact professionally with visitors and staff, assist with access control and badge procedures, document activity using computer or tablet systems, and provide outstanding customer service. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and observe the location for security‑related concerns, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities.

Minimum Requirements

• A state, county, or city‑issued license for security‑related work is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
