Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements as per state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Entry Control in New Hill, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and assist with visitor and employee inquiries. Through visible presence, clear communication, and routine security-related checks, you will help to deter incidents while supporting smooth operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points for a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorized access, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and access-control records while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
