Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, processing entries, issuing access credentials, and maintaining records.
• Observe inbound/outbound traffic at gates, docks, and access points; report unauthorized access or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly following site procedures and communicate with leadership or client representatives as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of the business perimeter, parking areas, gates, and loading zones.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, processing visitor and driver entries, issuing access credentials, and maintaining required entry records.
• Observe inbound and outbound traffic at gates, docks, and other designated access points; report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating with Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including the business perimeter, parking areas, gates, and loading zones; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
