Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain entry records, and direct authorized personnel.
• Control entry/exit of vehicles, drivers, trailers, and deliveries per site procedures and escalate discrepancies.
• Respond calmly to incidents and document observations for site contacts.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and shipping-related authorizations, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Control entry and exit of vehicles, drivers, trailers, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures, escalating access discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying site contacts as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
