What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points for a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and control entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles.
• Maintain accurate access logs, visitor records, and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
