Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Emergency Support in Fremont, CA. You will monitor and patrol the automotive manufacturing site, deter incidents through a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service while following site procedures.

The role requires at least 1 year in security, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.

• Minimum age: 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking, entry points, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, employee, and contractor entry procedures.
• Document observations and incidents and communicate information to site contacts and leadership.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking locations, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, employee, and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site‑specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and completed activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
