Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Identity Authentication in Fremont, CA. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct patrols, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service at a major automotive site.

The role requires minimum security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work overnight shifts. A background check and drug screen are required; CPR is a plus.

Qualifications

• 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the automotive manufacturing location and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access activity and report unusual conditions or violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required incident, patrol, and security documentation.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the automotive manufacturing location, including business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access activity and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to incidents, patrols, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
