Allied Universal in Fremont, CA is seeking a Security Officer Experienced Security Services to safeguard clients across automotive, warehouse, and other sites. You will monitor, patrol, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service.

This is a full-time role with a pay rate of $22.52 per hour and a rotating schedule. The position requires at least 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma or GED, and being 21 years of age.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout automotive manufacturing, warehouse, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and vehicle traffic in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
