Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Credential Screening in LOS ANGELES, CA. You will protect clients in a commercial real estate setting, monitor zones, and provide professional customer service while maintaining a visible, safe presence.

The role requires at least 2 years of security experience, with preferred guard license, badge control, and pepper spray certification.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Credential Screening in LOS ANGELES, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service. You will communicate clearly with visitors, tenants, and team members while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document entries, deliveries, and/or contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate property contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, maintain required logs, and support a professional, welcoming presence for occupants and guests.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
