Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Logkeeper in Jamaica, NY. Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation per laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories per laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, disputes, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Maintain a professional presence and communicate respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Logkeeper in Jamaica, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff.
