Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report them per site procedures.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs.
• Communicate observations and concerns to site contacts and leadership per post orders.

As a Security Officer Full Time Duty in Lima, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations promptly. You will engage professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $25.97 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate observations, hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
