Allied Universal® in Lima, Ohio, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver to safeguard clients across various industries. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and deliver exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s values.

The position offers a pay rate of $20.50 per hour with a DayTime schedule. A valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and background screening are required.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Lima, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
