Allied Universal in Johnstown, OH is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver to serve clients across Retail/Malls and other settings. You will perform unarmed patrols, respond to incidents, and maintain logs while delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location including floors and parking areas.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed.
• Monitor for unusual activity and potential loss-prevention concerns and report observations to management.
• Maintain accurate incident logs and reports and communicate with management and law enforcement as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out site‑specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, stock areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Monitor for unusual activity, potential loss‑prevention concerns, and facility issues, helping to deter unauthorized activity and reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with store management, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
