Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol in Concord, CA. You will drive to conduct routine patrols at utility locations, maintain a visible presence, and report security concerns. The role emphasizes safe, courteous customer service and adherence to site procedures.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation per federal, state and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and the public while following site procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and verify credentials; document activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and notify appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations to leadership and site representatives.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at utility locations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, access points, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
