• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, buildings and perimeters.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and document visitor/contractor/activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations with calm problem solving and notify proper personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations to leadership and site reps.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site‑specific procedures and emergency response activities at utility locations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, access points, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security‑related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
